Most people love animals but when I mention that I have worms that eat my kitchen green waste, I often get some very odd looks.
I saw my first worm farm in a bathtub at Soil for Life in South Africa. I was amazed and baffled by the good these little wrigglers could produce out of kitchen waste. Since an old bathtub is not really the option for most homeowners or apartment dwellers, I thought I would share with you what I bought myself; a stackable worm bin that devours waste and produces miracle juice and compost for the garden. I love to show off my worms and they are such an obliging bunch.
